We'd like to thank you again for everything you did for us: we were hoping for something special, but the feast you produced was more amazing than we could have imagined! The amount of feedback we've had has been incredible; I think just about everyone told us how much they loved the food, several people said they would use Cotswold Cooks if or when they get married and one of our friends even said it was the best meal he'd ever eaten (he especially enjoyed the terrine).

I'd also like to send another personal thanks to all the staff - they were phenomenal! They were so professional and competent that we quickly realised that we didn't have to worry about a thing which put us at ease all day, but more than that, they were all so friendly, helpful and enthusiastic throughout the whole event that they really helped our celebration become the best day of our lives!

I've attached one of the photos which we thought was cheesy but nice (sorry - I couldn't resist the pun!!!!). We will of course be recommending you to anyone we meet who is planning to get married!!!!!

Wedding ~ Cirencester ~ July 2011

Our wedding feast was everything we could have wanted and more. Nick and I were so delighted with everything you cooked and created for us, I just wish I had been more hungry to eat more of it (damn wedding butterflies!).

Our friends and family were equally impressed, with one of our friends telling us it was the "Best wedding food EVER" and another who had FOUR helpings of the pork. Everyone seemed so happy and it worked wonderfully, with everyone digging in. I've heard that there were hardly anything left on plates to be scraped away, and because it was all done family style with people helping themselves to what they wanted, we had some delicious leftovers and hardly any wastage.

Best wishes and I hope that this isn't the last time we will enjoy your cooking!

Private Party ~ Abingdon ~ September 2011

, , , thank-you and of course Sharon and the girls for the tremendous work last Saturday which helped to make my party a huge success. The food, put simply, was sensational - it exceeded my expectations and almost every guest complimented me on how great it was. In the end we had 55 or so guests and the left-overs catered perfectly for lunch and dinner on Sunday for the overnighters, not a scrap was left or thrown away. The girls also helped of course with drinks and even some last-minute flower arranging.

Wedding ~ Rendcombe ~ August 2011

. . . our wonderful wonderful wedding. . . really was so perfect and Rob & I loved every moment of it, we still haven't stopped talking about it! Everyone was so impressed with the food and we've had countless thank you letters going into detail of how delicious it all was. The lamb cooking outside was brilliant and such a spectacle (although Rob & I failed to see it as we were so busy talking to everyone! - but there are some great photos of it!!). And it tasted fabulous! Lots of pink in there which was brill! The patatas was great too and everyone was delighted with it! The salads were a success as well so we were thrilled thank you so much. And then the pudding - wow - I could have eaten tonnes of that and I thought that my cousin's wedding cake went with it brilliantly!

The canapes before were great. I tried them all and loved them, and it all ran so smoothly! The waiting staff were all lovely and seemed totally unfazed by laying another place which I heard they needed to do so thank you so much for that. Lots of people commented on how together and sweet they were as well. Bar staff likewise. Its all rather a blurr for Rob & I as I'm sure you can imagine and I wish we could remember it all in more detail but altogether it was a fantastic day so thank you so much for all your effort in making it so!

Dear Talia and the wonderful Cotswold Cooks

Thank you all so much for the absolutely fantastic fayre at our wedding. From the vegetarians to the carnivores, the quantity kings to the presentation perfectionists, they all told us how much they enjoyed the food!

We loved it and were equally impressed by the speed of service, the perfect timings and the manner and nature of all the staff on the day; so very well done!

We know our choices were a little different to most but we are/were so chuffed that you could see what we were trying to achieve and were prepared to go that bit extra to make things individual and special for us. Extra thanks to Talia for this and the hours of emails and questions and coming back from holiday early; quite brilliant and we are greateful.

We recommend you to everyone we know, all the best and hope to be able to use you again.

. . . thank you for the wonderful food and service at my party. Many many of my friends have written or rung to thank me and all of them have commented on how delicious the food was and how warmly you and the girls looked after them and everything. Apart from the rain, absolutely everything about the evening went far beyond my hopes and dreams and I am so grateful to you for all that you did towards this.

I do hope we shall have the chance to meet again but, meanwhile, may I have the recipe for the butternut squash parcels?

I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed your food on Saturday evening and Sunday lunch time. Everyone was full of praise for all the great flavours packed into all the food.

Highlights for me were the pork (yum), the fennel was just super (recipe please?), the vegetarians were absolutely delighted with their options, and the salmon was simply the best ever!!

Last night we were having the last of the vegetarian quiche which was really tasty... excellent pastry! (yup, we took all left-overs home).

None of the food was wasted..... I am that sort of girl. On Sunday we used all left-overs too, but did not end up using the ham....... just too much food. I have brought the ham home and it's great..... and being shared by lots of families! I even made a super tomato soup last night with all the tomatoes. Your portions were VERY generous.
